First off, thanks to all the hometown dubheads who made it out to Le Poisson Rouge last week for a killer night of rootical reggae vibrations! It was great to team up with Selector Bigga Mention and upcoming roots vocalist Rob "Spark Igniter" Symeon for a memorable night which also featured Kevin Batchelor from the Skatalites sitting in with the Dub Is A Weapon crew.

Our next show will then be on Saturday, February 13th when we team up with Groundation for a special Bob Marley Birthday show at Sullvan Hall. This is a venue that we've had the pleasure of rocking many times, so we're looking forward to celebrating the earthstrong of reggae music's number one artist at this spot. When Dub Is A Weapon isn't out touring around the good old US of A, our fearless leader Dave Hahn has been teaming up with Carter Van Pelt (WKCR, Wax Poetics) to host a Happy Hour reggae listening session now called "Roots Rock Reggae". Join them each and every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 10pm at Motor City Bar (127 Ludlow b/w Rivington & Delancey) down in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, as they spin their favorite soulful reggae selections on 100% pure vinyl!
