Dub Is A Weapon has traveled far and wide since we started our experiment in live dub back in 2001, but we'd like to think we've never forgotten that our roots are in the underground music scene of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  To celebrate these roots and what is now our eighth year of preaching the gospel of heavweight dub, we'll be peforming the last Saturday of most every month at Zebulon Cafe Concert, a venue that has supported the musical efforts of Dub Is A Weapon and our extended musical family for quite some time.  We'll be trying our best to spice things up with special guest DJs and other musical groups, but our good friend Carter Van Pelt (WKCR, Wax Poetics) will be serving as the resident selector for these sessions.  Check out our tour dates page to keep up to speed on these special dates, which are always NO COVER.

When Dub Is A Weapon isn't out touring around the good old US of A, our fearless leader Dave Hahn has been teaming up with Carter Van Pelt (WKCR, Wax Poetics) to host a Happy Hour reggae listening session now called "Roots Rock Reggae". Join them each and every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 10pm at Motor City Bar (127 Ludlow b/w Rivington & Delancey) down in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, as they spin their favorite soulful reggae selections on 100% pure vinyl!
